Principal's Message

Wow! I can't believe that February is here! This year seems to be going by very fast. I hope all of you and your families have a very happy and healthy New Year!

The Souper Bowl of Caring is being held from January 29th through February 10th. You can send non perishables into the main office any day between those 2 dates.

The Yankee Candle Fundraiser is going on now through February 10th. This raises money for Field Trips in the spring. There are some really cute things in the catalog.

Also, please continue to send in your Campbell's Soup labels and Box Tops. The school just received a check for $1308.60!!! This is a huge increase from the amounts we have previously received. Please keep them coming. We have one more chance to send them in this year.

Lastly just a few important dates:

  • Pre School Registration for the Clinton Elementary School Program will begin on Wednesday, February 1 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. There will be one evening registration on Wednesday, February 15th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Kindergarten Registration began January 17th every day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be one evening registration on Wednesday, February 15th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Please continue to visit the website periodically for important information and updates.

That's all for now!
Mrs. Sargent

Read...Read...Read

Reading is very important. Children should be reading at least twenty minutes a night.

The following article from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics will help you understand the new approach to math education.
Math Facts

Students need to be fluent in math facts because all future math activities are built on what we learn in elementary school. We need your help to practice the facts at home. Here are some great resources for parents!
